Pick & Roast Your Own Coffee at Sipi Falls

This journey take you through the whole Arabica coffee process

Sitting in the foothills of Mt Elgon, Sipi Falls is seemingly the most wonderful chain of waterfalls in all of Uganda. There are three levels, and however the smaller two are lovely, it is the 95m principle fall that draws in guests to this region, and the vast majority of Sipi lodges watch in this direction. It is well worth spending a night or two in this breathtaking yet serene place whether it is a piece of your Uganda visit or in combination of a climb to the nearby Mt Elgon Volcanoe.

Beside the falls themselves, a feature of going to Sipi is a visit that takes you through the whole coffee process at an adjacent family cultivation. You will pick the coffee berries, to deshell and pound them with a traditional mortar and pestle, and roast them on an open fire- the best part is completing with a cup of real Arabica coffee.

Price per person $25 for waterfalls hike and $25 per person for coffee tour
